SMACS, a solution for hospital efficiency with application in diagnosis, training and research, appears in the newspaper El País (see news) and in the news of La 1, to announce that Vall d'Hebron opens the largest ICU in Spain.

The Vall d'Hebron hospital in Barcelona has put its new intensive care unit (ICU) into operation. The health complex has retired its old ICU, which was more than 40 years old, and has opened a new space with 56 individual boxes located in three adjoining units. It is the largest ICU in Spain and is also an intelligent unit, interconnected through a computer system to integrate all clinical data and improve medical decisions.
